What's Wrong With People My Age Being Replicas and Clones of Others?!
Question: I'm 17 years old, and it really makes me wonder why do most (and nearly ALL) of the people my age are not being themselves or tend to act weird or follow the media in the way they live.
It's like everybody should be either emo, or a gangsta.. Or something in between. I mean what happened to people who are individual in a way or another. I even check out older people's profiles on several networking sites, they're kind of interesting. I hope nobody gets me wrong but they're different in their own way, they're not like depressed and think that they have the world on their shoulders although they have responsibilities bigger than ours. I'm sorry I wrote a tome but I'd like anybody who's reading to get my point.

In psychology, its called an "identity crisis." They want to establish their traits and personality through the clothes they wear, but must mimic others to do it.

We're not all like that. In my opinion I think the mainstream fashion has gone overboard.
But due to my...erm..."interesting" music choices and personality I don't have any friends.
Everyone should just be themselves, it would be so much easier...
