What is a nickel bigger than a dime?!

Question: Why is that?

Answers: Why is that?

Originally dimes were made of silver, a more valuable metal than nickles, which are made of...nickle.

A dime is made of a more precious mineral therefore if it's bigger, it will be worth more than its value.

dimes were previously made of silver, and the nickel, of course nickel. now depending on the metal you use for the coin, the less you have to use to get the value price of the coin. since silver is worth more, you need less to make it ten cents. since nickel is worth less, you need more of the metal to hold on to it's value

a dime is made of more fluent minerals there for is smaller than a nickel but worth more. a dime is that smallest coin the nickel is reletivaley close to the quarter in size.

Yeah a nickel is bigger in size, but not in value, like money. A nickel is five cents and a dime is 10. I don't know if silver is more valuable than copper though.

Yeah that is weird then why is a Quarter bigger then a nickle?

DID YOU KNOW THAT IT COST MORE THEN A PENNY TO MAKE A PENNY---WE SHOULD JUST GET RID OF THE DAMN THINGS.

Are you trying to say, "(Why) is a nickel bigger than a dime?"
