What are the usual rules on cameras at large pop concerts??!
Question: I'm going to the X Factor Tour at Wembley Arena next month. Just wondering if anyone could tell me the usual rules for Wembley Arena or ANYWHERE for photography at concerts.
Can we take video and digital cameras in or not? Is filming on phones allowed and are disposable cameras ok?
I'd be grateful for any information as I don't want my camera confiscated or to waste money on disposables I can't use etc.

it tells you on the way into the x-factor concert that no cameras are allowed but that was no where near what happened! i came back from it with 29 videos! of each act singing! and multiple pictures and sound clips x as did the majority of the crowd!!

You need to read both the website for the artists as well as the venue. Sometimes the venues allow it but the artists do not.

i saw 30 seconds to mars in concert the other week and almost EVERYONE had phones, cameras e.t.c
i even saw someone with a disposable but she gave up cos she had to keep winding it up :P

As everyone has mobiles with cameras the rules have changed. I have been to many gigs & havent been asked to leave my camera since ooh.... 2001?
