Having grown up on a ranch, I am always amused and amazed at the amount of people that don't really know the answer to this question which has been going around for quite sometime. No, male cattle do not have udders like in the show. I suppose they did that in the movie so that little children would recognize it as a bovine type. Because they are standing on their hind legs, like a human, it probably would have been better if they would have drawn him as a steer. Yes, steers as well as bulls have penises, but they are not always sticking out as some would have you to believe. A steer has been castrated and if he could stand up on his hind legs, all you would see is a little bit of what looks like long strands of hair down there. You are right and your boyfriend is wrong, male cattle do not have udders.

Male cows are bulls. Bulls don't have udders, they have a penis instead, you know, being male?

What a laugh, males of the species have balls - unless castrated, never udders

no it is not that is what i was wondering to. i dont know why they did it that way.

No, male cows do not have udders. It is possible the scrotum was drawn in a way that made it look that way. You said the film was animated after all. Come to that, males aren't called cows anyway. I think that term is reserved for females.

bulls don`t have udders, they have willies but being a childrens film I don`t think they would get away with having bulls with stonking great willies walking about

Tricky question.
Your bf is incorrect.

I haven't seen the film but did notice the same thing on the old Boddingtons ads. Always thought that was a bit odd!

That was pretty silly. I suppose people tend to think all cattle have udders because most people see herds of cows rather than bulls on their own.
