It might well be that there are enough people working in the sex business already but just not in ideal circumstances. Decriminalising all aspects of the business would help to drive out the criminals and ensure adequate health & safety protection for service providers and their clients.
It need not be a problem for anyone living near the business premises - after all, the impact is not unlike living near a hairdresser or a dentist. They all provide a quick turnaround personal service. It would certainly be an advantage for those neighbourhoods currently blighted by curb-crawlers.
Why do you need to "encourage" more? there are plenty of drug free high class,happy free willed women offering "services" in the back of magazines, in local newspapers and on the internet, just google "escort services *your town"
I don't understand why you feel there are not enough
Legalise brothels. That way they can perform their services in a safe enviroment and not walk the streets where they are more vulnerable.
We need... MORE prostitution?! Sorry, I'm not paying for something I can be getting for free.
I'd hope that one day women would be respected enough so they wouldn't have to prostitute themselves but hopefully the government will wake up and create laws and safe environments to operate in as a stop gap.
