If you do buy from Ebay - make sure they have good high feedback and pay using paypal - so it protects you against loss - I paid and lost ￡80 - may as well have give it to you :(

Craigslist, if you live in a major metropolitan area.
the price of a ds is 150 normally.
if you have something to trade in to a gamin store, like an older system you no longer plan on using or and older game you no longer want to play you can use there trade value toward a ds. (get the lite its better more expensive but better.) trade in at game stop.
you could also try e-bay or amazon. (amazon is more reliable.)

I bought mine on ebay for about ￡80 + whatever postage was from hong kong. Had it since xmas and no problems. Can also get great colours from abroad - mines red.
