What musical artist were you once embarrassed to admit you like(d)?!

Question: I love Christina Aguilera, and I started liking her when the Stripped album . . . CD . . . . whatever came out. At the time, I was embarrassed to admit I liked her. Still too close to the Britney comparison for me to admit it publicly.

Now, I could care less. I love that woman's voice.

I was, and still am, mildly embarassed to admit that I liked Barry Manilow. In the 70's, he was the king of mellow.

heeheee

Milli Vanilli or however you spell it.

maroon 5, i listen to death metal and melodic hardcore metal. yeah maroon 5 is definetly not metal! haha

Brittany Spears...it's embarresing but I LOVE "Gimme More" and "Piece Of Me"

Christina Aguilera has an amazing voice!
i totally agree. and to be honest i used to
like britney spears... oh and the backstreet boys

Shakin' Stevens. But in my defence, I was VERY young.

I am not embarrassed by any!!! I love all my favorites with all my heart.

Mariah Carey
Trick Daddy
John Legend
Patti Labelle
Anita Baker
Juvenile
Britney Spears

I was never embarrassed! They all mean so much to me!!!!

Boy George and Culture Club

Transvision Vamp, in 1991. I still am a bit embarrassed to be honest.

John Denver *sigh of embarassment*

Is it embarassing to like Creed? I like them, too...

Nsync and Randy Travis. I used to hide their cds from my collection.

Umm... ashamed of the Black Eyed Peas. I bought the Monkey Business album a couple years back, and it hasn't really left the shelf since.

I dunno. One song I'm embarrassed to admit I dig is "Tipsy" by J-Kwon - awful, but it gets the blood flowing if I'm going out.

I'm not ashamed to admit I still love old-school Michael Jackson.

I think I can vouch for the musical legitimacy of every artist I dig and most songs, too. Even the ones that are sometimes scoffed at like Michael (and his J5 stuff), Arcade Fire, Justin Timberlake, or U2's less popular stuff.

*EDIT* I'm also ashamed to admit that there are 50 cent songs I dig. I always pump "In da Club". I love hip-hop and I feel artists like 50 do more harm then good, but damn. He's got some solid beats.

Well... no... I still can't admit it.

Abba, Barry Manilow, that song Barbie Girl. It just cracked me up for some reason.

Gary Numan - "Cars"

Still loveit!
