When people say that the music to something(e.g. an advert) has been recycled, w!
Question: If it's the advert that I'm thinking of, it's from a UK energy company that's trying to make itself appear 'green' (environmentally friendly).
In order to do this, all of their new adverts are made up of reused ('recycled') television and sound clips, from yesteryear.
I suppose that it could be seen as environmentally friendly - as they didn't go out and film new clips, they have saved the carbon emmissions of an entire film crew's vehicles, however, I think it's more symbollic than anything.
