Why doesn't Wal-Mart sell unedited music CDs?!

Question: Just about all of their CDs are edited. However, in the next aisle over, you see movies and TV shows like Saw and Family Guy.. then in the next aisle over, you see video games like Grand Theft Auto.

Don't get me wrong. I love Saw, Family Guy, and even GTA sometimes, but it's just one of those things that make me think. I love Best Buy, but it would be nice to be able to pick up a CD that isn't edited when I'm buying a movie or some groceries, because it's kind of annoying to have to go elsewhere to pick up a CD.

because they are more worried about little kids hearing 'bad words' than they are about them becoming anorexic whores who wear too much makeup from playing with BRATZ.

screw walmart.

Just another one of the many many reasons Wal-Mart SUX.!!!

Because they are trying to sensor the world and set our standards.

It's because the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) started putting the "Parental Advisory : Explicit Lyrics / Content " stickers on CDs in 1985 and Wal-Mart refuses to sell anything with the sticker on it because it makes them look bad, or something. I totally agree, though, because they have Tarantino movies, and everything, so it doesn't make sense. But if someone started putting stickers on DVDs and games, they'd probably stop selling those too.
