Why do you criticize rap music?!
Question: I hate each and every one of you who criticize rap music as a WHOLE. If you didn't know, rap music has it's good and the bad just like rock music. AC/DC, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, System of a Down, ETC are bands that deserve respect because they're actually "GOOD" rock music unlike bands like Limp Bizkit and most of the modern day stuff young teens enjoy listening to. Why not the same for rap music? You guys love to ridicule rap music by saying it sucks and it's for unintelligent people. I do agree rap music sucks these days because of guys like Soulja Boy, Lil Boosie, ETC ... they may be good to get a NIGHT CLUB going .. but if you're speaking in terms of "real hip hop, real rap" with deep lyrics that deserve respect, how can you guys forget about Tupac? Rakim? Biggie Smalls? Nas? Joe Budden? I know people have their opinions - but I just can't stand people who generalize rap music as a "WHOLE" saying it's garbage. They are the people who only know about Soulja Boy, D4L, Boosie, ETC

Your wasting your time trying to talk to those type of people who are close minded, Honestly its a waste of time and energy. I understand where you coming from because I have heard music by the artist you mentioned and some of the songs are straight classics,But I doubt that people who feel the way they do about RAP are going to actually listen to it with an open mind let alone understand where someone like tupac is coming from ? REMEMBER people fear what they dont understand !!!
actually...i don't criticize any music...i like what i like and that includes music from genres (includin' rap...and i'm a 48 year old white guy)...
Oh my gosh I know exactly what you mean. Oh and don't forget Def Leppard, Run DMC, and NWA :) People are just ignorant and assume that rap is nothing but drugs, sex, and money. And while a lot of it is about that, so are a lot of songs in any other genre.
