I want to mic a drumkit for a live performance. Which of these mics should i use!


Question: I want to mic a drumkit for a live performance. Which of these mics should i use? I just want a simple setup (2 overheads, snare and bass drum)
Mics I Have Are:
2 x Shure SM57
2 x JTS NX9
1 x Roland DR50
1 x JTS TX-8
1 x Peavey PVM-45

use the sm57 for the snare drum
the peavy for either the toms
JTS NX9 use as the over head
the other sm57 use for the high hat
for 150.00 the nadys will do fine for a good starter package
and stiil keep those sm57's those are sweet snare drum mics
as for me i run my drums through triggers
through an alesis dm5,takes up alot less room on the mixer too
