How can I convince my parents to let me go to this concert?!
Question: I am turning fifteen years old and have never been to any concert of any type. My FAVORITE band is having a show on July 9th not far from my house. My birthday is right before that, and I really want concert tickets for my birthday. I am a member of the band's official fan club, so I can get good tickets before the general public. How can I convince my parents to get me tickets?

you sound really intelligent, i would think that you could handle going to a concert and not getting in trouble or getting hurt , you should let your parents know this, that you really just want to go and have a good time and you want to show them your responsible enough to do that. they might think concerts are really dangerous and crazy or that you could get lost in the crow and like...i dunno suffocate or something, thats just parents being parents, in reality concerts are safe enough and there will be police there , for every crazy fool running around drunk there's also someone who is responsible, let them know that too, there's allot of adults that go to the shows with there kids and you bet your buttons they will watch out for you too. its safer then it seems. just tell your parents you want them to allow you the opportunity to show them you can handle some responsibility and you don't want to let them down. any parent would go for that unless there jerks.
you can tell them that you will clean your room or do anything they ask you to but then not do it

i went to a jb concert in dec with my friends by ourselves and we got away with it by...
showing responsibility, (like taking the dog out, doing homework, doing chores, coming home before curfew...etc)
making sure we had everything planned
assured them we'd have our cell phones
etc,etc,etc...
