abolished years ago the old dog licence so he does not need one at the moment, but the law is about to change to own a animal like a dog,
and your right the dog does look very timed on the show, but i think if they was anything to out a order about the animal o the show the R.S.P.C.A would step in because the show is broadcast for all to see,

Ok first of all - if the dog was unhappy, he's piss all over the stage
Secondly - we don't pay for the dog - The BBC make us pay as they don't show adverts
Thirdly - dog licence in the UK was abolished years ago
Dog does not look scared to me and I think it is lovely and adds to his show.

1 - dog does not look scared to me - have watches the programme occasionally and the dog is usually asleep so must be relaxed.
2 - no such thing as a dog licence at the moment
3 - no such thing as a dog lisence so we don't pay for his dog licence

I don't watch very often cos usually at work when its on but don't understand why he is not suitable - he has a couple of dogs at home and seems very loving and caring of his dogs.

You don't pay his wages, he is on channel four and the adverts pay his wages. We pay tv licence for bbc only because they refuse to have adverts.
