Question: do you think it's inappropriate? I was watching the Tyra Banks show and this one guy who was going to be married went through a sort of "make-over." When he went back onto the stage by his fiance, Tyra said, "Oooh he's lookin fine" or something like that and then "Ready to jump his "bones"?" or something like that. If I am correct on the meaning, I thought that was too personal for her to say that... I mean, come on! I would be embarassed as heck if I were the girl! What do you think?

This is one of those times when you have to know your audience. Some times these kinds of statements are inappropriate or even rude and sometimes they are fun and entertaining. It depends on the people you're with, timing, and the situation you're in. I've never seen the Tyra banks show so I don't know what kind of an audience she has. One thing that makes it not so bad is that these people are in a serious relationship so the suggestion that they have sex is not out of line in this sense. But you're right in the sense that some people would just rather not talk about this kind of thing in public. And since Tyra probably didn't know this girl very well she doesn't really know if the girl would respond in a playful way or wether it was insulting/embarassing for her.
