It is called a 4 string base guitar. It is shaped like an acoustic but has 4 string and is usually played with your fingers instead of a pick.

I am wrong...I saying banjo..lol but i like the fact that you can here music and distinguish the instruments...the way music was meant to be represented...not CASIO (boom ba Boom yo baby yo baby throw up !!) music is an art. Rap is too but combining instruments together and producing a beat is the Ultimate!!!!
