714 so far... A lot of people have many more than that. You will get a lot more too as you go on .Depends how many you have answered. To get mine I have answered over 11 thousand questions so far. keep going good luck.

It takes time. For me, it not only took more time and answers to get my 11, but now I'm trying harder to leave better answers.
321 which is about 7% of all my answers. You get picked if you answer fully and accurately. Also it is no point in answering a question about the finer points of decorating if you are only mediocre at doing it. Only answer those questions for which you know the answer and forget opinions as they are not definitive answers.
actually, I have chosen as best answer 1148 times out of 3276 questions which equals 35% on my best answers percentage. sometimes, it does. but if you tried your hardest on the question and get the right facts on the question, then you will get a best answer again in no time. I always gave honest answers on questions and helpful advice. so maybe if you have done something that relates to the question, then you should write your experiences on your answer. it will help the asker a lot. answer questions which you know lots about, are good at and you are bound to give a better answer

I have ninety five "best answers" however I answer lots of questions. Almost all of my answers are about dogs,I have never given a best answer on any of the other questions.
I love dogs and I try to help as many people as possible. Every day there are people asking the same questions, consequently I have dozens of answers saved. Obviously if the same questions are asked it easy to copy and paste the answer.
I don't want to brag, however I also have ten stars and I don't know how I got these. Can anyone tell me how stars are issued?.
Never counted. What I do know is that the Yahoo! Q's & A's (in their infinite, 'Care in the' "Community....... Guidelines" 'oceans of wisdom') Appeals Section, must be situated, either at; Little Big Horn, or, in Calcutta. They give you a bucket of brownie points and merit marks for "Best Answer" with one hand, and, then, take it away with another. Now I also know where the expression "Indian giver" has originated!
