Getting there much before gates open is pointless unless you want to chill with your friends. Check with the concert location as to what you are allowed to bring. If possible bring snacks and water. Food and drink is pretty expensive there. They do give away Monster Energy drinks though. Just have to stand in line for a bit, but then what else is there to do? Atreyu is awesome by the way. Depends on the size of the venue as to how crowded it will feel. Many people go and many people crowd surf and mosh, so pay attention to what's going on in the area you are in. Have a great time!
