Well, I'm not a model myself, but I do know that it's not easy (have you ever seen America's next top model?). Especially when you want to get your foot in the industry, you have to do a lot of tough things to get noticed. It's a real competitive industry and people are far from nice and friendly... you need to develop a thick skin to take criticism.

Travel all over the place...all the time. Never given a break. Pay isn't always too great, and you will probably lose contact with a lot of your friends. Clients want you to lose more and more weight. Expect a lot of criticism and treated like your nothing other than a body to be used for fashion/clothing.
