Concert Ticket Question.?!

Question: I am buying tickets to a concert that is standing on floor only. The tickets i find at ticketmaster.com are GA8 PRICE LEVEL1
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET...What does the GA stand for? I was told it might stand for the gate you enter in? If thats true do the other 7 gates plus reserved seating go in before you? I dont want to buy tickets and get stuck in the way back.

General Admission basically means "first come, first serve." In other words, it's an unreserved area. Hope that helped!

The GA stands for General Admission.
If it is a small venue, there probably aren't lots of sections, just one general section. Usually these are "first come, first served" seats/floor space.

If they say "standing only" or "floor only," that means that you don't get a "seat" and you usually have to get to the place early and stand in line to ensure you get near the front.
