Question: The last question I answered was barely written in English. I am amazed how many users on here can't spell and use proper punctuation. And even some ask the most ridiculous questions, or questions that can be easily found, or is an attempt to help them with their homework. I thought answers would draw people who want to have fun and intelligent conversation. I guess I am too much of an idealist.

I have noticed that a lot of the questions and answers that contain bad grammar and punctuation are from people that do not fluently speak English. But some of the ridiculous questions are actually funny to read. I think the diversity of Questions and answers is what makes this site so fun and addictive.

I think perhaps we are the guardians of the gate. If they can't ask a proper question they don't deserve an answer. Perhaps they will learn that you have to put a little effort into the question to get proper feedback. Or if their question caontains an easily searchable answer just give them a link. Let them do the legwork and excercise their brain (a little).

Well Starbuck if there were an I.Q. test hardly any folks on Yahoo Answers would pass, and perhaps you and I would have to chat amongst ourselves!

There are many people who don't know proper english but that doesn't shows their answering ability...
they do have great or you can say superb idea that we don't have but the only thing is that they don't know english...
other thing is that some questions you find so simple but others don't find that simple so they ask solution of their problem to the whole world...
