Dentist checkup...?!
Question: when you go for a dentist checkup do they always tell you to floss more. i flossed like 10 minutes before i had my checkup and they still said i had to floss more. is it just me or what?

I get yelled at all the time for not flossing... it makes me feel like a child (I'm 24). They must get a kick out of lecturing people on flossing. (\_/)
everytime!!! but i never floss so idk.
you have to floss like all the time. its like they can tell if you dont floss forf like 8 months and then floss 5 mins before the appointment. either that or they know no one flosses. =]

It doesn't matter, your gums will still be swollen from the long amount of time that you didn't floss. They are experts with teeth!
Well...do you floss everyday? Or did you just hurry up and do it 10 times before your checkup? I'm sure they are able to tell whether you do it everyday or not.
I'm not sure though, but yeah they always tell me that too.
it doent count if u dont floss untill right b-4 your appointment your gums wiil get weak and you can get gingevitus which is a gum disease whichh means that your gums bleed when you floss/brush or both just floss at least once a day every day.
they usually tell me to floss but i never do.
