Why are blind people better at tuning pianos?!

Question: they have developed a better sense of hearing

Answers: they have developed a better sense of hearing

Because their hearing senses are stronger.

They can hear better.

i just put a can of star-kist on my piano, and thats my piano-tuna...lol

when you lose one sense, the others get stronger. and tuning a piano is about listening to the tune, so blind ppl can do it better sometimes.

That's a stupid question. Their sense of hearing is better to compensate for lack of sight, so they can hear the slight differences in tone better than a regular person could.

I heard that when you don't have a sense the others develop more so maybe that's true, it's logical if you become blind your capacity of hearing will be more important, so its ability will increase.

Tuning is more about sound, than seeing. The vibrations. This is also why someone who is deaf, can keep a beat.
