My guitar sting...?!

Question: My guitar string vibrates, big time. It's in tune and everything. I was told it was to high off the neck or something. I think it hits the neck everytime I strum it. It would sound right if I strum it slightly, but it I strum it right (if this makes any sense) it vibrates or goes out of whack. Help?

Strings are supposed to vibrate. I'm guessing you mean the string buzzes. Its vibrating against the frets. That can mean any or all of these things:

The truss rod may need adjustment. The neck is actually supposed to be curved VERY slightly (we are talking unnoticeable unless you stare down the neck of the guitar).

The saddle may be too low (where the string meets the body)

The nut slot may be carved down too deep (where the string meets the headstock near the tuning pegs)

Take it to someone who knows how to repair it. I don't suggest trying to fix it yourself. Especially the truss rod.
