Who do you think "That Green Gentlemen" is?!

Question: Who do you think "That Green Gentlemen" is!?
In Panic At The Disco's new CD, Pretty!. Odd!., I noticed that they all thanked "That Green Gentlemen" in the credits!. Who or what do you think they're referring to!?

Someone had mentioned that it could be weed!.
I mean, I wouldn't doubt it if they were stoned the majority of the time when they made their new album!. The lyrics ARE pretty crazy! Haha!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
"That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)" is the second single from the sophomore album by Panic at the Disco, Pretty!. Odd!. The song was the second song written by the band after they decided to scrap an album's worth of material, but was not played with "When the Day Met the Night" and "Nine in the Afternoon" at the various festivals Panic performed at during the summer of 2007!.

In January 2008, the music magazine NME published a review after having had a listen of Pretty!. Odd!., describing "That Green Gentleman":

“ God knows what the budget was for Pretty!. Odd!., but if it cost anything less than a million dollars to record, then the band have done well, because it certainly sounds it!. This one sounds HUGE, as though Disney had decided to re-record 'High School Musical' with The Polyphonic Spree!. Only infinitely better than that sounds!.[1] ”

The title of the album was already decided before the line, "Things are shaping up to be pretty odd!." was written!.[2]

The song was performed (as well as "She's a Handsome Woman", and "Mad as Rabbits") on every date of the European tour prior to the album's release!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
