The song was released in 1958 by David Seville, who is the alter ego of writer/producer Ross Bagdasarian, who in turn does the voices for the original Chipmunks!. I may be wrong, but I don't remember Ray Stevens doing a cover of this song!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

to be perfectly honest with you i think that it is actually made by people called "the cartoons" as i have it on cd from when i was younger with that on!.
however it is on a film set in th 70's so someone from then most probably made it!.!.!.Ray Stevens guy your on about!.
