Answers:
It is a Step-Up key!.
you have a step up saxophone!. this means that it is of higher quality than saxes w/out that key!. this key, when paired with other fingerings adds on another register of higher notes!.
google step up saxophone fingerings and you can find out more about them!.
selmers are usually step up instruments, because they are more expensive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hey, I play the sax too! It is so awesome, anyway!. I know the bfat key but not sure which one under it!. Sorry I can't help!. Which type do you play (Alto, Tenner, Barratone!?) Maybe that has something to do with it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That sounds like a low A key!. My brother's saxophone had an extra key somewhere in that area, and it turns out it was a low A key!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
