Well, I'm sure there will be a bunch of other posts up by the time I'm done saying the same thing, but, the Les Paul is an Epiphone, which is basically a cheaper version of a gibson, and the Fender is an Ibanez, which is a good guitar, but not the one you selected!.
I've played both and from experience I can tell you that the Epiphone is a much better guitar than the Ibanez!. Better sounding, more durable, better looking, etc!.!.
However, if you do want a Fender, find a Squire, those are very good as well, then it just comes down to what type of music you will be playing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

First of all, that second link is an Ibanez, not a Fender!. If its between the Gibson and the Ibanez, I'd go for the Gibson!. If its between a Les Paul and a Stratocaster (Fender), I'd get the Strat!. But, my all time favorite is the Gibson SG!.
Go to your local guitar shop and try them out yourself!. You have to pick the guitar that feels most the most natural to you!. To me, Strats play more naturally than Les Pauls, but SG's are even better!. Everyone's style is different though, see for yourself!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

first off!. the first ones not a gibson its the lower version also known as the epiphone!. they dont sound as nice but if u wanna rythm guitar thats ur choice!. ur second guitar you chose was a ibanez!. those are ok if your just starting!. or if you want to shred!. also known as a hardcore solo!. ive got 3 guitars and soon getting my fourth which'll be a gibson not epiphone les paulWww@Enter-QA@Com
