If you don't know if you're going to like it, rent first! You can rent a decent violin for about $20 a month!. If you hate it, you're out $20!. If you love it, you paid $20 to find out what a good violin sounds like, feels like, plays like!.

A decent student violin with a good setup and good strings costs about $300!. Anything much less than that has some serious problems!. Some common ones with cheap violins - bad bridge placement and slipping pegs!. If the bridge wasn't cut to fit the violin, it sounds horrible!. That can cost more than $50 to fix!. If the pegs slip, it won't stay in tune long enough for you to play a song!. That's incredibly frustrating!.

Buying a cheap instrument is much more likely to turn you off to the violin - bad sound, going out of tune, cheap strings, etc!. If it plays at all!.

Rent first!. Invest the $50 in a month's rental and a couple of lessons from a violin (not just a music) teacher!. Give yourself a chance at liking it!. And then you'll know what you're looking for when you're ready to buy!. And never buy without playing it first!Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you are sure you want to play it, yeah!.!.!. sure!. Violin (from China and not handmade) is cheap and I think 50 is average!. Not very cheap in this case :)

what you have to know!.!.!. violin is a little bit harder to play than some of musical instruments!.!.!.!. just for your consideration!. I do love playing it though and the sound is just beautiful!. And besides that, you also have to buy a shoulder rest which I don't know how much will it be on other country!. I'm from an Asian country!.

In addition, learning violin is a bit different from some other musical instruments!. It takes time just to learn the basic so if you get bored easily, do consider buying the violin again or not :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wouldn't buy one for $50!. Some people's final decisions are related directly to their experiences!. If the violin is $50, it's probably not a very good violin; so more than likely it will be a very squeaky violin and you wouldn't be able to play it even if you were good!. I would follow the above advice and rent one to try violin!. Then if you like it, wait and buy a nice one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have played the violin for 9 years so trust me!.!.!. Where ever you live there are always places to rent a violin and set up some kind of plan, so you dont really have to buy a 50 dollar one!. I have never seen one so cheap that actually works!. I dont know If I would trust it!.!.But if you bring it to your teacher then they can decide for you!.!. You then need to find a teacher!. If you enjoy the instrument a lot, Then you can purchase one!. An ok violin is not outragously priced!. Only very nice ones are!. You can get a cheap bow too!. Hope this Helps!.!.!. also, if you have a musical backround you should be fine!. Not to worry!. The music is in trebel clef by the way! Your teacher will make you really comfortable with instrument and you will be playing in no time!. Have fun playing!Www@Enter-QA@Com

That is to cheap one that is real good is like mine it was my uncles,he gave it to me it was 250$, it was made from cherry wood,it plays real good but im trying to get someone to teach me how to play!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No violin costing $50 is going to be worth buying!. The lowest price point for a decent instrument is about $200!. See:

and then you should find a private teacher!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
