Lyrics ::

Well, I wish I was a catfish,
swimmin in a oh, deep, blue sea
I would have all you good lookin women,
fishin, fishin after me
Sure 'nough, a-after me
Sure 'nough, a-after me
Oh 'nough, oh 'nough, sure 'nough

I went to my baby's house,
and I sit down oh, on her steps!.
She said, "Now, come on in now, Muddy
You know, my husband just now left
Sure 'nough, he just now left
Sure 'nough, he just now left"
Sure 'nough, oh well, oh well

Well, my mother told my father,
just before hmmm, I was born,
"I got a boy child's comin,
He's gonna be, he's gonna be a rollin stone,
Sure 'nough, he's a rollin stone
Sure 'nough, he's a rollin stone"
Oh well he's a, oh well he's a, oh well he's a

Well, I feel, yes I feel,
feel that a low down time ain't long
I'm gonna catch the first thing smokin,
back, back down the road I'm goin
Back down the road I'm goin
Back down the road I'm goin
Sure 'nough back, sure 'nough backWww@Enter-QA@Com

Their story is archived as having taken the name from
a Blues artist, Muddy Waters (whose birthname was
McKinley Morganfield), who early in his career
had written and recorded a song, "I'm A Rollin' Stone"!.

And from there, the Rolling Stones have always
been true to their Blues-based music roots!.

If you listen to enough of their stuff, you'll notice
intense references--lyrically and musically--to
especially Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, and
John Lee Hooker!.

also, with any mild searching, you'll find scores
of books and nearly endless reading material
out there on the subject of the band, their music,
the people whose careers they're largely responsible
for, the infamous womanizing and good and bad
times both!.!.!.it just goes on!.

From a business standpoint, they were a franchise
before most people were aware of it, and have
accumulated, in some people's opinions,
perhaps an obscene amount of wealth!.

Over the years, their guitarists have ranged from
gifted artists to deep-in-the-blues purists, although
all of them were/have been/are touches of both,
their drummer is a jazz-aficionado and sheepdog
(I believe) trainer of sorts, their singer is a former
student of The London School Of Economics, and
I sense that I have spent way too much of my free
time listening to every scrap of their music just for
sheer pleasure!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
