Question: Why are books that are the same called different names between the US and UK!?
Why are books that are the same called different names between the US and UK!? I wanted to cause they do in heaps of books like Cherub and Harry Potter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My guess would be because, even though we speak a common language, there is some variation in our terminology!. For instance, if we sent Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone over to the UK, they'd be wondering wth a "sorcerer" was!. Is that anything like a philosopher!?
Send "the Philosopher's Stone" here and we would think that it was a story about a pebble Socrates carried in his toga pocket!.

The cherub one I know nothing about!. I would assume it must have something to do with marketing, and that they just think those names would grab more attention in different areas!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
