No not at all!. Just if you want to play a song lets say for example "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses it would definetly sound better on an electric but you can still learn it on an acoustic!. I think you pretty much get the idea of what I'm saying!. I just used Guns and Roses as an example so if you don't like them I apologize!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well no you don't have to buy tabs, but if there's a song you really want to play just google it!. Although you have an acoustic guitar you can play most songs but if it has some electric guitar techniques you'll have to learn how to do them on acoustic guitar!. Hope I helped ^_^!Www@Enter-QA@Com
tabs are for all kinds of guitar!. unless you're looking at a bass tab or something!.!. then you'll need a bass guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
