Birthday Planning Blues... Theme? Formal?!
Question: Birthday Planning Blues!.!.!. Theme!? Formal!?
So my little sister is turning 17 in June!.
She told me today that she wants to have a formal party with a dance and have everyone dress up in dress clothes!.
But she is having problems motivating some of her more casual dressing friends to dress up!. I suggested giving the party a theme such as hollywood or 007 to inspire those individuals!.
What do you think would be a good idea to get everyone to join in the fun of the night!?
What type of theme if any would inspire you to get into character and dress up!?
If you have anyting else that might be of some help that would be awesome to!.

Why don't you do something along the stars of hollywood going to the Oscars!. But instead of Oscars - use her name as the awards and make some cute or silly awards to give out for various categories - most embarassing moment, best couple, best brown noser, etc!.!.!.make the mood fun and festive!. Do a photo shoot - make it look professional - like a shoot a model would be on!. Get some of the guys and girls before the party to even make short films for the award viewing which could be a total surprise to the b-day girl but would get the more casual friends involved!. also, maybe those casual friends can't really afford to get all glitzy so maybe as the big sis you can get some outfits donated or hit the local thrift store with some of the less inclined party goers!. Don't forget lots of balloons, fake chapagne, and lots of glitz!Www@Enter-QA@Com
