I heard on NPR that songs getting stuck in your head are basically the same as a recurring itch - the nerves get aggrevated, but since there's no way to scratch your brain, it just stays stuck!. Songs with catchy chords - like a certain Disney ride theme song - are more likely to be stuck!. The best way to get rid of them is to replace them with another equally catchy song until it eventually goes away :(Www@Enter-QA@Com
I just hate when that happens, and it's usually some song you hate!. I just start singing some songs I like!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
