Learning how to play acoustic guitar?!

I am going to be a sophomore next year in High School and am going to take Guitar as my elective!. I was wondering what the best acoustic guitar for beginners is (at the best price), and about playing the guitar!.

I played the flute for 3 years and then dropped it, and I am self- taught at the piano!. Do you think the guitar will be easy to catch onto!?
