N the digital channels + 1, what is the + 1 referring to ?!

Question: N the digital channels + 1, what is the + 1 referring to !?
for example, E4 + 1 is simply E4, but broadcasts what was on that channel one hour previously!. Therefore, shouldn't the channel be - 1 !? Surely E4 + 1 should either show what's going to be on E4 in one hour, or change the name of E4 + 1 to E4, and E4 to E4 + 1 !? Anyway, if it's not referring to the hour, is it, as my friend says, referring to the one more chance to watch it !?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
If that confuses you, what are you going to be like when they bring out all the new channels!?

E4+2 = A second other chance to see things (also known as E4+1+1)

E4+1÷2 = Same as E4+1 but split into 2 screens

E42 = For people without widescreen

C4 H12 O6 = The Organic ChannelWww@Enter-QA@Com

I think it does refer to the hour, but if that is the case it should be E4 - 1!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

E4+1 is the what was on E4 but an hour later, hence the *plus* oneWww@Enter-QA@Com

I thought it meant +1 as in hour on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's set back one hour!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
