For myself personally, Harry Potter!.!.!.yes, it's a kid's book but really!.!.!.who doesn't love those books!? I'm also a huge fan of Stephanie plum series by Janet Evanovich!. I'm a 26 years full time state employee that is also going through EMS training (about to start intermediate program) so when i sit down to read a book, I want it to be something that either transports me to a different world or really just lets my mind settle down!. I've read Shakespeare and Jane Austen and some Dickens but with all I'm doing throughout any given day, I choose to read chick-lit or something that lets me NOT think! Marian Keyes is a great author for this as well as Nancy King, Sophie Kinsella and Cecilia Ahern!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Tolkien, Herbert, Austen, Assimov, Shakespeare!. People who created or defined their chosen genre!. Tolkien with Lord of the Rings, of which most fantasys copy reallllly badly!. Herbert with Dune!. The sci fi that even Star Wars took a leaf out of!. Austen cause who hasn't heard of Pride and Prejudice!. Assimov being the guy who wrote I, Robot and the 3 laws that all robot books/movies have used since!. Shakespeare!. Well!.!.!. Anyone who can write plays and have students still studying them over 400 years later has to be good!. And anyone who can write like that deserves a place on anyones bookshelf!. And then things like Skullduggery Pleasant and Harry Potter for a bit of light reading!. Note: I read a 100 or so page novel in half an hour so heavy reading for me is encyclopaedias!. And everyones always talking about the buildup of suspense!.!.!. LolWww@Enter-QA@Com

It depends on what you wanna look in a book!. If you just wanna have a laugh even from a book, I suggest you read My So-Called Life and the sequel, The Life of Riley by Joanna Nadin!. But if you're looking for a good storyline, I'm not sure tho!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
