I just bought a Squier Standard P Bass Special 5 5-String Bass and it has a really hollow noise whenever i play it

It's just my opinion but you probably shouldn't have bought a Squire!. You should have at least gotten a Mexican Standard if you couldn't afford an american!. Are you playing through a cheap amp!?!.!.!.it might be that!. Or the bass needs to be "set up"!.!.!.new strings too if they are old!. I use GHS Boomers!.!.!.reasonably priced and sound great!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
