What is the best type of beginner accordion?!

Question: What is the best type of beginner accordion!?
I really want to learn how to play the accordion!. I have tinkered with the piano in my past, but have no formal training!.

Which accordion do you feel is the best type to be able to quickly learn and play simple versions of songs; the button accordion, the piano accordion or a concertina!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
I'd say piano-accordion only because the piano key layout is more familiar to most people!. The bass system is a little harder to comprehend, but once you get going with it you'll realize it's based on patterns that become easy to recognize!.

If you are buying a piano accordion, make sure you get one with full sized keys and at least 48 bass buttons!. It will be more comfortable to play and you'll have enough range for most music!.

There's nothing wrong with button accordions of course, just remember there are two kinds if you go that route!. Chromatic button accordions have all the notes just like a piano accordion and play the same note whether you push or pull!. Diatonic accordions play different notes on the push and pull (so do some concertinas) and are usually set in a key, so you don't have all the notes to work with, just the ones in that key!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
