Answers:
I think most people prefer to see the movie first because they end up being disappointed by the movie after reading the book!.

I, however, prefer to do the opposite!. I prefer to read the book first for a better understanding of the movie, much the same way I like to read up on history before visiting a European city!. I know that the movie has it's limitations!. I know a movie can never replicate a book to perfection, and I don't expect it too!.

There have been a few movies that was complete disappointments - The movie "I Am Legend" for example completely butchered the story!.

On the whole, however, I am pleased!. "Lord of the Rings," "Marie Antoinette," and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" were all pretty good adaptations!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It depends which book/film you are talking about of course
but, in general, I personally would rather watch the movie
first, then read the book!. If you read the book first
you may be disappointed about how the film makers
interpreted the story!. There are going to be details left out
and if you read it first you will miss them in the movie!.
If however, you watch the movie first, you can then read the
book and be surprised by all the interesting things you didn't know before, that were cut out of the movie
for length and continuity!. the only disadvantage I see
is that if you watch the movie first, you may be overly influenced by it!. So that you may only be able to imagine
a certain actor as a character!. But if you keep an open mind
and use your imagination, this shouldn't be much of a problem!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

First read the book, then watch the movie!. Otherwise, the images from the film would influence your ability to imagine scenes from the book, so you'd pretty much be watching the movie again, just in your head; nothing would be yours, you'd imagine the characters from the movie, the settings from the movie, and all the fun in reading the book would be lost!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

book then movie

usually the movie leaves out stuff!.!.!.and then you have the wrong idea of what the book is!.

but if u read the book first then you already know mostly about the movie :(Www@Enter-QA@Com

book then movie!

movies r always better than the books

and remember:!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.never judge a book by it's movie!
