The price sounds about normal!. Ignore that $899 regular price crap, that is total BS!. Obviously you won't get a great kit for $300!. I generally pay more than that for one cymbal, but these kits are fine for a beginner!. You will need better heads when money permits!. I didn't notice if it comes with some cymbals, if so they will be crap, but again fine for a beginner and you can also buy better cymbals down the road!. I really don't mean to sound harsh but I've been doing this for many years and I want you to know what to expect out of these sets!. They will be fine to learn on but you can't really gig out with them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
