How to perform slap and pop on bass?!
Question: How to perform slap and pop on bass!?
Alright so I've been playing bass for abit over half a year, and I've been wondring how exactly the slap and pop technique is performed!?
Like, what part of the thumb is used to hit the string!? What angle should my thumb be at!? And is it common for you to have to mute the other strings so you can just hit one string, or do most people simply hit the string they need without hitting others!? And would just the D and G strings be 'popped' while the E and A strings a 'slapped' !?
