In my opinion, Flea is better, because he is very impressive technically but he's also very melodic, which I think Les sometimes lacks!. I mean, they're two very different genres, but I think Les's bass lines can sometimes overpower/take attention away from the song, whereas I think Flea knows how to be economical!.
