It is fun! We had a circus/ carnival for our sons 3rd bday!. We rented a bouncy castle!.!.!.!.had 3 round tables (3 ring circus) with red, yellow, blue table covers!. The food was circus food- hot dogs, smoked sausage links on a stick, popcorn, peanuts in the shells, cotton candy, snocones (bought a machine at Walmart for $25- ues it all the time) and veggie/ fruit tray & cake!.
Balloons everywhere!. Games- I had a baby pool full of yellow rubber duckies each with a # on the bottom!. The # indicated how many pieces of candy each kids got!. Bean bag toss (I had an appliance box that I attatched a poster board with a painted clown & balloons on)- # bean bags in = number candy, balloon burst (put pieces of paper in balloons, blow them up- kids sit on 1 balloon, # = candy) all candy was 1-4 pieces!.!.!.plus they got a party favor at each game as well- clown noses, a circus animal (walmart sells big plastic safari animals for ,88 each), bubbles!.!.they got mini bags of cotton candy to take home too!.
My older son dressed as a clown- He wore girls red leggings (oversized) with primary colored dots painted on with puffy paint, a yellow t shirt, a clown wig, rainbow suspenders!.!.!.easy to make!.
I bought mostly solid colored 'plain' party decorations and played 'circus' and kids cds for music!. You can get solid red/ blue plates, cups!.!.!.anywhere for cheap!. Righ tnow the Dollar tree even has some circu theme toys for sale!.
Was a lot of fun- I think it made the adults feel like kids again- they ate more cotton candy/ sno cones than the kids!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
