I'm a Muslim and I can see a lot of people have misconceptions about our religion!. Please people, we try to respect your religion so we'd expect the same from you!.
Quran is not only the religious book for us, but it's something that guides us in life!. Do you know that all the scientific facts that scientists discovered much later was already stated in the Quran, like a million years ago!?
As for men marrying more than once, one has to have a good reason for that!. No proper Muslim can go around marrying anyone they like, just because it's allowed in the religion!. A married man can only marry another woman to save her honour in the society!. Women's pride and honour are higly valued in our religion, and if a man has to get married to another woman to save her pride, he's allowed to do so!. That doesn't mean he can go around getting hitched with any random woman!.
All the religions in this world are there to show us the right path in life!. Islam is one of them!. It tells us to be good to mankind, not to tell lies, stay away from drugs, alcohol and engaging in physical relationships with someone you're not married to, tells us not to backbite, or cause harm to any individual!. It also tells us to be kind to humans and animals alike, support the ones in need!.
Praying 5 times a day is compulsory, so is fasting from dawn to dusk for an entire month, giving charity, going on a pilgrimage to Meccah!. Above all believing that there's only one Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is his only messenger!.

I read it and it deals alot with fear and guilt!. thats not god !. god is love!.
but what i do like about Islam is they pray alot!. praying is good!. I just hope they give god the chance to speak to them in prayer!. he still talks to us!.
