I am an American living abroad (Austria) and living overseas has made me appreciate many things in the US even more!. We take a lot for granted and it's not until I moved away did I gain an appreciation for things unique to the US not found anywhere else!.
1!. Good, friendly customer service!. Grocery stores that pack your groceries for you and you don't have to stress out and pack them yourself! also, being able to pay for stuff with a credit card!. Places here hardly take credit cards!. Anything that has to do with *convenience* for the customer is just not a concept in this country!.
2!. A multicultural melting pot with lots of ethnic choices for food, different interesting people to meet and people tolerant of people who come from different countries!. I am originally from Los Angeles and I miss the mix of cultures!.
3!. The American spirit of positiveness and optimism!. Americans are also flexible and things don't have to be a certain way!. The American "you can do it" and "you can become whatever you want to be" attitude!. People here can be so unbelievably negative and inflexible - it just floors me sometimes!Www@Enter-QA@Com
