I think it's a pretty good chance!. Sort of like if you hear one artists version of a song first, there's a chance you'll like it better than other versions, even if the one you heard first wasn't the original version!.

I'm sure there's exceptions, but I think that what you're saying is probably very likely to happen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you like rock music, it does not mean that will not supplant it with other music genre!. In my case, I liked classical music when I was younger because I used to play the piano!. But then when I grew older, rock music came into view and I liked that too, and then came the pop music and the music of Carlos Santana, and so I seesawed from one music type to another!. And strangely, now I am back to my first love classical music although I no longer play the piano and I have plenty of collections of all types of music, from rock to pop and the hip hop!. But now I like better the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart and the other great masters!.

Good luck to you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think so!. When I was younger, back in the '90s, I mean late '90s here, I (and I'm horribly ashamed of this,) listened to N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys as well as Ricky Martin!. Then I also had some Smash Mouth, and I got the single for Wonderful, by Everclear!.

I never properly left the '90s, because now, I listen to the grunge bands that I missed out on in those years that I was watching Barney and Sesame Street!. I'm HUGE into Nirvana, and would gouge my eyes out before sitting through a Backstreet Boys song!. I still remember pieces of some of them, but I don't even think about them any more!.

Like people change attitudes and styles as they grow up, they can also do a 180 degree turnaround and listen to something completely opposite of the music they used to listen to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I became a fan-girl of music in the 80's (yes I had the big hair, leg-warmers and all) and TONS of posters of Tears for Fears and Duran Duran all over my wall!. I loved synth pop!. (was in Grade School) Then I became obsessed with Metallica in 7th and 8th grade!. Had the album "Kill 'em All" and had a door poster of Blackie Lawless from W!.A!.S!.P!. (whom I was in love with at the time) Yes, I was a total metal head!.
Fast Forward to now!. I still love synth pop and am still a fan of Duran Duran and Tears for Fears as well as many other new wave/dark wave bands and metal bands!. But my favorite artist!? Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Tom Waits!. You couldn't get anymore different from synth pop or metal than Tom Waits and Nick Cave!. ^_^ I think as time passes taste will change as you gain exposure to different genres and such!. Things may appeal to you later that you thought at the time would have no appeal at all! Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think so! It's a matter of opinion!. There are great songs with different beats and rythms in all kinds of genres!. I was raised on country, but I like all kinds of music! Www@Enter-QA@Com
