I thought about a "50s Pin up theme", dress up like Marylin Monroe, Betty Page, Ave Gardner, Dita von Teese!.!.
but im not sure how to make a cool "50s pin up party"!.!.

I would do something slightly more broad, like "The Red Carpet", this way you can be a pin up girl but your guests have some freedom too!. You can have a red capet rolled out in front of your house, a backdrop inside for people to take pictures in front of!. You can have decorations like cameras and stars!.
Food -- Veggie tray, spinach dip, fresh guacamole, make a veggie pizza and use a cookie cutter in star shapes to go with theme, hummus and here are a couple of sources

Other ideas -- to make it feel like a more "grown Up" party, serve all your drinks in martini glasses, for music try doing the billboard top 100 for up to date songs AND google the billboard top 100 from the year you were born and use those songs too!!!! Www@Enter-QA@Com
