I hate to disappoint you, but there never was any Carolyn Keene!. Nancy Drew, and a whole bunch of other children's series, were put out by a writing factory owned by Stratemeyer!. He (and later his daughter) would outline a plot, and some struggling young author would fill it out for $200!. There was one woman who did write a lot of the early Nancy Drews, and now the modernized ND is written by someone else!. I think Stratemeyer no longer exists, but the rights were sold off to some large publisher!.
