Question: How can I convince my parents to give me the sweet 16 party i want!?
My 16th birthday is December 10th, So I have the weekend until then!.
I want to have my party in a hall, and I want it to be formal!. My parents said that would be too expensive for around Christmas time, but!.!.!. I CAN'T HELP THAT I HAVE A DECEMBER BIRTHDAY!
16 is supposed to be a mile-stone, and DAMMIT I WANT TI!

Maybe if you tried to contribute to the cost!.!.!. As in, give them some of the money they need, if you can!. Or maybe try and find someplace cheaper!. Or if you try and ask them a different way each time, and come up with LOTS of reasons to have it the way you want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Or have it a couple of weeks early!.!.!.
Or compromise and have a different kind of party!.
For my sweet sixteen, i invited 16ish people, rented a limo, went to the wax museum in NYC, and had dinner at a really nice place!.!.!. it wasn't as expensive as a hall would have been!.!.!.
edit: my friend got a discount on the hall she had her sweet sixteen in, 'cause she knew someone who worked there or something, so see if you can rack up any discounts through association!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

well they're telling you it's expensive!. they can't do it!. as much as they'd like to please their daughter (no matter how much of a brat she may be at times), perhaps you need to acknowledge how difficult it is to make ends meet, especially in the world's dire economic situation at the moment!.
if you want the birthday party of your dreams, save up for it!. and no, 16 isn't a milestone!. a milestone is getting a job, earning money and spending it wisely!.
