Question: Do you think that this is rude!?
I'm new to my school and I go to the same school as my cousin!. We're the same age and in the same grade!. And since I don't have many friends yet I hang out with her!. I act immature sometimes and I don't like modern music!. I like Punk rock such as Mindless Self Indulgence!. One day her and her friends were singing some rap song and I had no clue what the were singing so I just started to sing a MIndless Self Indulgence song!. Then my cousin just looked at me and said, "Stop following me and just grow up for once!" I was really sad!. Her friends don't mind me!. Actually her friends love me!. They think I'm hilarious!. She's always telling me to grow up and sometimes she hides from me in school!. One day I heard her whispering and she said that she's ashamed to be seen with me just cuz I dress sorta punk/emo!. She also said that I need to keep up with the modern times!. Do you think it's rude the way she acts around me!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

If her friends love you and think you're funny she might envy that
&& She's your freaking cousin , she shouldn't be ashamed to be around you because of the way you dress !

&& If that doesn't work out ; Find some friends with some of the same interests as you

I'lll tell you my thoughts on this:
She has no right to tell you to grow up when you are singing a song and she was just singing one before!
Their is nothing wrong with not liking modern music so much and there is certainly nothing wrong with dressing punk/emo!.
I think it is very rude and she needs an attitude make-over!. The way she acts is offensive and mean and must really put you down!. The best thing to do is make new friends - You'lll be much happier and she probably will be happy and leave you alone as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

what was rude was interrupting them from singing their song!. it's cool that you all get along most of the time, but finding people that have the same interest in clothes, music, would help make transitioning easier!. no one likes a Satellite!. you don't have to orbit your cousin all the time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yeah it's rude but she's the one with the problem, not you!. Be yourself!. If she can't accept you for who you are maybe you should be avoiding her anyway!. And for the record top 40 music does suck!. Check out indiefeed!.com!. I find a lot of really good stuff on their podcasts!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
